WWW Wednesday

Look at me, blogging every other day! (It won’t last, fam.) Also, I’ve just started doing work for my internship this summer, so prepare to start seeing a lot of books outside of my usual genres! (If you wanna see what types of books I’m reading for my internship, you can see my TBR here.)

Also, for those of you who don’t know: WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where you answer 3 ‘what’ questions about your reading.

What are you currently reading?

  • The Wonderling by Mira Bartók
    • Reading this MG Fantasy for my internship. Ahhhhhh, it’s so cute and whimsical and omg the protagonist is so pure. It’s surprisingly long for an MG book tho (450 pages!). I’m a little over halfway at the moment.
  • Final Draft by Riley Redgate
    • Reading this for the Dragons & Tea Book Club and I’m adoring it SO much! The protagonist is so relatable and I’m so excited for the friends-to-lovers romance. I can’t wait to continue!

What did you recently finish reading?

they both die at the end cover

I already mentioned this in my last post, but this was my first Adam Silvera book and I ADORED it, specifically Mateo and Rufus! Death-Cast and knowing one’s end day are such intriguing and perplexing concepts.

Any recommendations on which Silvera book I should pick up next?

What do you think you’ll read next?

  • You Don’t Look Like Anyone I Know by Heather Sellers
    • The next book I plan on reading for my internship! It’s a memoir and I’m rather curious to learn about the author’s life with face-blindness.
  • The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston
    • And lol, another Goodreads group read! Though this is the one that makes the most sense for me to pick up next, I’m not sure I’m in the mood for it? I might replace this with another non-internship book.

What are you currently reading? Have you read any of the books I mentioned above? Read any new favorites recently? What are you up to this summer?

If you participated in WWW Wednesday this week, feel free to drop the link in the comments; I would love to check it out!

  1. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed They Both Die At The End! I can definitely recommend History Is All You Left Me as your next Silvera read (or What If It’s Us if you don’t mind a collab). Have a wonderful week and happy reading!

  2. Oh, The Wonderling looks so cute! I’ll have to add that to my TBR. I’ll definitely have to check out They Both Die at the End, too. Sounds great! You Don’t Look Like Anyone I Know sounds fascinating! I’d be curious to see how the writer’s affected by their face-blindness, too.

    Here’s my WWW post.

  3. I’m currently reading Final Draft too! It’s so good, I just love her writing style. I’ll have to check out more of her books once I’ve finished! The Princess and the Fangirl sounds SO CUTE, I hope you’ll enjoy it 😊

    1. Same and same! I just finished it today and ahhhh, I wanted more! I loved everything that happened, but I wanted to see it all explored a bit more, ya know?
      And thanks! 🙂

  4. You Don’t Look like Anyone I Know sounds so intriguing! I remember learning about face-blindness when I read Holding up the Universe by Jennifer Niven, and I was so captivated by the whole thing, but reading a true story about it must be even more touching! I’ll need to read it 😀

    1. Ikr? Lol, I still haven’t pick it up yet, tho I will definitely be doing so sometime this summer.
And oooh, I hadn’t heard of Holding Up the Universe before—I’ll have to check it out!

      1. Holding Up the Universe was great! It didn’t give me as many feels and destroy me as much as ATBP, which is probably too high on my list of faves to ever be replaced, anyway. But I hope you read it! 😀
